Summer Reading Challenge at the Saline County Library starts on Monday, June 6^th. All ages can enjoy age-specific programs weekly at both the Bob Herzfeld and Mabel Boswell branches.

It’s easy to participate and fun for all ages, including adults! Online registration will start May 23^rd. Challengers can sign up using the Beanstack app or website, where you can easily log your minutes and days read, complete challenges, and keep up with your progress. The challenge does not officially start until June 6^th, but you can pre-register to get ahead of the game!

Additionally, you can come into either branch starting Monday, June 6^th to pick up a paper reading tracker to log your reading.

Set your reading goals and reach them weekly to enter for your chance to win fantastic prizes. Adults can be entered to win weekly prizes such as a metal detector, Cricut Joy, greenhouse, and more, as well as one grand prize at the end of the summer. All participants will be given prizes after completing weeks 2, 4, 6, and 8 of Summer Reading.

Reading Prizes:

• Day 10 – Tote Bag
• Day 20 – Summer Reading T-Shirt
• Day 30 – Fidget Pop-It (Ages 0-8), Wireless Earbuds (Ages 9+)
• Day 40 – Book (Kids), Book Buck (Adults)
