Regular Register June 9th-June 30th
for our exciting summer reading program!

Ages 0-7
The Saline County Library System has an exciting summer reading program planned this year for children ages 0-7. The program is designed to keep kids reading over the summer and to encourage parents to read to their children. We promote reading for fun, so there is not a required list of books. Instead, children will set a reading goal based on the number of minutes they are willing to read or be read to each day. Come to either library location during the month of June to receive a Summer Reading BINGO card to keep track of your reading. A prize is awarded for the first five BINGOs, and children will receive a ballot to enter our grand prize drawing when they fill their card completely! Please see the list below for our fun summer reading activities.

Ages 8-12
Tweens participate in summer reading by completing a BINGO card designed specifically for them. Tweens can choose from a variety of art, computer, reading, and literature based activities to complete their BINGO cards. Prizes are awarded for the first five BINGOs. Fill the card completely to earn ballots for our grand prize drawing! We have a lot of fun activities for tweens this summer; please see the list below.
