Seed Library

What is a Seed Library?

A Seed Library is a collection of seeds that we "loan" to you. You can plant and grow your own food, herbs, and flowers at home.

What are the benefits of a Seed Library?

It's a way to have fun, build community with fellow gardeners, and support people who are new to the world of gardening. Seed Libraries also preserve rare, open-pollinated or heirloom seeds and encourage gardeners to save quality seeds that are suitable for your local growing area.

How do I sign up?

There is no membership fee and you don't even need to have a library card to get seeds. Fill out a request form here and staff will let you know when your seeds are ready. You can have up to five seed packets a month.
