We love introducing beginners to crocheting and knitting, so every Club session will begin with a "getting started in..." lesson in the Meeting Room. This month's meeting will begin with "Getting Started in Knitting." Then, new knitters, feel free to join the others as you work on "getting the hang of it" while socializing with like-minded crafters.
If you don't mind working on community scarf projects in the Library, there is no need to bring supplies.
If you want something you can take with you to work on at home, please purchase one ball of Lily's Sugar 'n Cream cotton yarn in any light color (variegated is fine, but steer clear of dark colors). If you can't find Lily's specifically, any 100% cotton yarn with the image of a ball of yarn on the label with the number 4 and/or word medium printed on it will do. Also, get one size 7 (4.50 mm) circular needle that is 16 inches long preferably wooden, but whatever your budget allows will do.
