Yvonne Dougherty is a native Arkansan and long-time Saline County resident. Yvonne has Native American ancestry but has no tribal affiliations. She has a BA in English and a Master's in Technical & Expository Writing from UALR. Recently retired from Pulaski Technical College where she served as the Saline County Adult Education Center Director in Benton for 20 years, Yvonne now works as a part-time library assistant for the Saline County Library. Yvonne has 35 years experience in genealogy research.

This two-hour course is designed to help you start tracing your Native American ancestry, particularly focusing on the tribes native to Arkansas and the Southeast United States known as the Five Civilized Tribes.

Ages 18 and older.
