Bryant Book Sale on June 16th

Get ready to shop for some bargains!

There will be an outdoor book sale on Saturday, June 16th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mabel Boswell Memorial Library in Bryant located at 201 N. Prickett Road. The sale is open to the public and there is no charge for admission.

Paperbacks are $.50 while hardback books, DVDs, music and audiobook CD’s, and cake pans are $1.00 each.

The book sale is put on by the Friends of the Library. They are a volunteer group who, along with hosting and setting up the book sale, help to sort books at both library locations, work in the book room at the library, and participate in various events around the community.

“We are excited about expanding to Bryant,” said Friends of the Library member Anne Hall, “we’ve always done the book sale in Benton so we’re excited to have this one in Bryant. Patrons love browsing to find a great treasure and the prices are hard to beat.”

They are accepting volunteers to the Friends of the Library. You can pick up a form at the front desk of the Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton, or at the upcoming Bryant book sale. The cost of membership is $5 for an individual and $10 for a family. If you have any items such as books, DVDs, or CDs that you would like to get rid of, the Benton branch will be accepting donations after this book sale.

Funds raised from the sale will be applied to 2018-19 programming for both branches of the Saline County Library.
