2025 Holiday Programs

Happy holidays from Saline County Library! We have so many programs this holiday season that we can’t wait to share with you. Check out all we have going on in December 2025!

Holiday Wrapping Station

The Benton and East End will have free wrapping paper so you can wrap up your their holiday gifts! Wrapping supplies are free, and wrapping at the library has the added bonus of staying away from prying eyes who might want to spoil the secret! The Holiday Wrapping Station will be available during library branch open hours from Monday, December 1 to Saturday, December 20.

Santa Visits the Library

All three library branches are having a very special visitor… Santa! All visits will be from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM, with different dates for each branch:

  • East End Branch: December 2 at 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
  • Bryant Branch: December 4 at 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
  • Benton Branch: December 9 at 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Local Author Showcase

The Benton Branch will have local authors at the library from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 6. Drop by to meet them, talk about their work, and maybe even buy a thoughtful holiday gift supporting local talent.

Holiday Trivia

On December 9 from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM, the library will run a holiday-themed trivia at U.S Pizza in Bryant! This trivia night is open to all ages. Make sure to register, so we can estimate the headcount for U.S pizza! Entry to the game is totally free, but you’ll have to order your own food and drink. If you win, you could take home a prize!

Holiday Workshop

The Benton branch will host a variety of crafting activities downstairs in the Makerspace area and Lower Commons. The Holiday Workshop session, taking place on Wednesday, December 10 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, will have guided instruction on how to make custom holiday cards, gift tags, and handmade ornaments. No registration is required, and patrons of all ages are encouraged to drop in to create seasonal items.

Need a last minute gift? There will be a second Last Minute Holiday Workshop on Saturday, December 20 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Bryant Branch. Patrons of all ages are welcome to use Makerspace supplies to wrap gifts, create homemade presents, and enjoy festive treats.
