Unearth a Story at the library!
Summer is here, and so is the Saline County Library’s Summer Reading Challenge! Every year, libraries across the country encourage families to keep reading during the summer months, discovering new stories while school is out. Readers of all ages are invited to join the fun!
From June 1 through July 31, you are challenged to read for 40 days over the summer and try something new along the way… whether that’s attending a unique library program, picking up a different genre, or discovering a new favorite author. Programs will take place at all three library branches in Benton, Bryant, and East End, and the challenge is completely free to join! Readers can track their progress with a paper reading log or with Beanstack – an app available online or on your mobile devices.

Participants can earn prizes throughout the summer, including free books, t-shirts, giveaway entries, and more. Adults can also win tickets to our special grand prize packages! The more you read, and the programs you attend at the library, the more chances you have to win!
