What’s better than reading a new, exciting book? Reading it with a group and then discussing all your favorite plot twists!

We offer several book clubs for varying genres! Find one that fits your style best. All book clubs are free to drop in any month – but if you want more details including what book is being discussed, please contact the book club organizer!

Monday Afternoon Book Club

The Monday Afternoon Book Club meets the first Monday of the month at 1:00 PM at the Saline County Library in Benton meeting room. (If that Monday is a holiday, they meet on the second Monday.) This group has been meeting for 18 years! Holy cow! The Monday Afternoon book club reads everything from fiction to non-fiction, cozy to hard-boiled… but avoids sci-fi, or horror. This group may be a fit for you if you like a larger group with lots of thoughtful opinions – there’s always deep thoughts about the latest reads! If you’re interested in learning more, please contact Laura.

(“How do werewolves feel about global warming?”) The club tends to pick YA novels that were popular in the 2000’s and 2010’s, and meets every second Saturday of the month at the Bryant branch from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
