Our strategic planning committee researched the demographics of Saline County and conducted a number of surveys to gather patron feedback. This process gave us insight into the needs and wants of our community, which helped our committee to narrow down key themes.
Our goals in the coming years are:
- To improve library hours to fit community needs.
- Provide informational and entertaining programs that appeal to the various needs of our community.
- Prioritize staff visibility, training, and knowledge of community resources.
- Create useful and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces that expand the reach of the library into the natural world.
This strategic plan will serve as a roadmap in our efforts to be the community hub for Saline County while providing free, educational, and entertaining programs and services. As always, we would love to hear your feedback and suggestions on how we can continue to better serve our community. We look forward to working together for the betterment of Saline County!
