Storytimes
Each day during Dream Big Week, we’ll focus on a different figure from history and complete a themed craft!
- Ada Lovelace — Code a Path! 🧠
Inspired by the woman who helped create Wifi, we’ll embark on a beginner-friendly coding activity using Cubetto, a screen-free robot that teaches sequencing and problem solving. - Zaha Hadid — Design & Build
We’ll build together with Magna-Tiles, inspired by this British architect! - Jane Austen — Tell Your Tale! 📚
Her works inspired the world! The group will roll storytelling cubes to help ideate characters and plot twists, creating a unique story together! - Amelia Earhart — Ready for Takeoff! 🛩️
We’ll try and break records, just like Amelia did in her aircraft! Our group will make paper airplanes and see who can fly the farthest!
Good to know
- All ages welcome; activities are designed with elementary learners in mind but are fun for families to work on together.
