Summer Reading Challenge at the Saline County Library starts on Monday, June 5th. All ages can enjoy age-specific programs weekly at both the Bob Herzfeld and Mabel Boswell branches.

It’s easy to participate and fun for all ages, including adults! Online registration will start June 5th. Challengers can sign up using the Read Squared website, where you can easily log your minutes and days read, complete challenges, and keep up with your progress.

Additionally, you can come into either branch starting Monday, June 5th to pick up a paper reading tracker to log your reading.

Set your reading goals and reach them weekly to enter for your chance to win fantastic prizes. Adults can be entered to win weekly prizes such as a metal detector, ice machine, projector, greenhouse, and more. All participants will be given prizes after completing days 10, 25, 40 of Summer Reading.

Reading Prizes:

  • Day 10 – Summer Reading Tote Bag or Bubbles or Sunglasses
  • Day 25 – Summer Reading T-Shirt
  • Day 40 – Summer Reading Tumbler or a Book Buck
