Elf has always been one of my favorite Christmas movies—it’s funny, full of heart, and captures the true spirit of the holidays. I got to play Walter Hobbs in Elf the Musical at the Royal Theater in 2021, so this story will always be a special one for me.”

Santa Duck and His Merry Helpers by David Milgrim is always a hit with kids.  From Santa Duck singing “jingle quack, jingle quack, jingle all the quack!” to his siblings trying to ‘help’ him be Santa’s helpers, it’s a very funny book that never fails to bring joy.  My own kids love it so much that I had to buy a copy to keep at home.”

White Christmas is my favorite Christmas movie ever.  I watch it 5 or 6 times at least every year.  The music is great.  The costumes are great.  I just love it.”

💚💚”The Grinch is special in my home.
Every year, the weekend after Thanksgiving, we watch The Grinch as we put up our “Grinchmas decorations” and sip hot chocolate. When it’s time for bed and my little ones are dressed and ready, I read them How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

I love this story because it reminds us of what the holiday spirit is truly about — that love is our greatest gift. I hope that lesson stays with my boys all year long. I try to teach them to be kind, even when it’s hard — because love takes more strength than hate, and what this world needs most right now is love.”

“There’s the classics like A Christmas Carol, especially the Muppet version, and 90s classic The Santa Clause with Tim Allen.”

“I also love the extended Hobbit and Lord of the Rings Series. At the Gann Museum I have an Arkansas map drawn in Tolkien’s style and one of his quotes above the door. I love his world!”

Batman Returns is the best movie for Christmas solely for Danny Devito putting in his best performance of his life (outside of Matilda). If you don’t like generic Christmas movies, Batman Returns is the one for you.”

“The biggest reason I picked Prometheus one is because it’s one of my favorite directors and franchises. Technically, this is the only one of the Alien movies that takes place at Christmas – They even set up a tree. While not Christmas themed, this movie still brings people closer together.”
