Teens Cook Too!

Want to impress your family for the holidays? Bake a yummy creation that will have them thinking you’re a professional chef! With just a few ingredients and 20 minutes of your time this side dish will become an easy favorite. As a bonus, you don’t have to tell anyone how easy it actually was. So grab your apron and let’s get to baking!

Ingredients:

· 3 Ripe Pears

· 1 Tablespoon Honey

· 4 Sprigs Thyme

· 6 Teaspoons Gorgonzola

· 6 Walnuts (Halved)

· Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 400˚F

2. Cut pears in half and scoop out seeds with a teaspoon or melon baller.

3. Place halves open-faced on a baking dish and drizzle with honey.

4. Place thyme on top and bake for 10 minutes.

5. Let cool.

6. Place a teaspoon of gorgonzola into each pear boat.

7. Garnish with walnuts and another drizzle of honey.

8. Season with Salt and Pepper to taste.

9. Serve either warm or cold!
