In an effort to better serve our community, we are now offering book delivery on holds placed. Book deliveries are perfect for those who prefer not to visit the library during the pandemic.

When placing a hold to be delivered over the phone, tell the staff member that you would like to have those items delivered to your home. If you’re placing an item on hold using our website, simply select “delivered to me (SCL) / mailed to me (MHSCL).”

Once your item(s) is ready, our book delivery staff member will deliver it to your home. You will then call them when you’re ready for your item(s) to be picked back up. All items still have normal circulation times, which can be found on our FAQs page.

The Saline County Library also offers homebound service, which is an alternative way for patrons to receive library materials if they cannot access the buildings because of extenuating circumstances
